Exodi’s first gadget, the Treasure Hunt Server, has now been put out in the main store (SLURL)!

1. The server gives you precise control over placement of your treasure hunt items. Place them anywhere you can build, in any position/rotation.

2. Items can be controlled by anywhere on the sim. No more need to have the server within 100m or even 300m.

3. The server offers the ability to place your items, shuffle them on command, remove them all, and have them announce their location, all in one button click.

4. Items will disappear and relocate to a new position once found, making this a true hunt.

5. The package includes a detailed user guide and five premade hunt items. Please note that YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN HUNT ITEMS with the server. The premade items are only included just in case you’re like me and don’t always feel like making one!

How it all works:

Using the positioner script in your hunt item, you will record locations where you would like your hunt item to appear in the hunt area. Place the positioner anywhere – tumbling down stairs, hidden in a candy jar, on top of a shelf, anywhere. Once you have recorded all of your locations, you will simply drop the script and notecard of locations into each of your hunt items along with your boxed prizes. Then use your server to send your hunt items out into the hunt area for your customers to find! Once found, the item will disappear and relocate to another designated location from the list. View how many times the items have been found by clicking the Stats button on your server. Shuffle all the items about on command. And when the hunt is over… remove all of the hunt items from anywhere on the sim with just the click of a button.
